To become a Youth Member of the S7 Fashion Connoisseur, potential young candidates must meet the following requirements:

·   Desire to pursue a career in fashion design or related fields

·   Must be between the ages of 13-19

Because mentoring young emerging designers is crucial to becoming successful in the fashion industry according to Bennett (2010), the FYN will provide a foundation where Fashion Visionary Mentors can actively communicate and develop future fashion designers.
